Mr. Halpern is involved in charity initiatives in his home state of New York and abroad. He donates both time, money and resources to help support the Joel A. Halpern Trauma Center at the Westchester Medical Center in Westchester County, NY. It provides life saving operations and medical care to those with severe injuries. Jason Halpern also donates a small percentage of the profits he makes from his real estate projects to a clean water charity group. Thank to Jason Halpern’s generous financial support and partnership, water charities in Nepal and Ethiopia are now able to provide hundreds of people in these countries with access to reliable clean water for daily use.
Projects That JDMH Development Has Completed
JMDH Development has several successful completed residential projects in New York City. One of these is the development known as 184 Kent in the borough of Brooklyn. In this project Jason Halpern transformed a storage warehouse facility for the Austin Nichols Company into modern luxury rental apartments in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. 184 Kent is considered to be the first luxury rental apartment development in the Williamsburg neighborhood. Preservation of the buildings historic features and brick exterior was successful during the project.
Another successful project done by JMDH Development is a project known as the Townhouses of Cobble Hill. This development is also located in Brooklyn, New York. It involved renovating four historic townhouses and the construction of five new ones on Congress Street. Designed for the high end client, the townhouses were sold out well in advance due to high demand for residential property in the Cobble Hill neighborhood.
